Ain't nothin' more southern then a Mason Jar...

Y'all ever seen those Mason Jar's all painted and distressed looking?? I've seen them and LOVED them! What a simple yet bold piece of décor. Well, if your country. Now I am all about saving the mullah so I  Googled them until I had a perfect method. (I've seen sets of FOUR selling for 24$! Say what??! It does not cost that much to make them yourself!) And that's what I'm gonna show ya!

First gather how ever many jars you'd like to paint and your paint. Set up an area to protect your surface. I opt for aluminum foil because NOTHING sticks to it! I swear by it when I am painting. Set your paint up. For mine I wanted an ombre look in Bimini blue. Another great thing about aluminum foil is making "paint jars"! Pour and mix until you get your desired color, when your done just toss it in the trash!

See?? Super convenient!

Next, obviously, paint your jars! I only did one coat of each color. If you don't plan on distressing them like I did I suggest two coats.

Last step after they dry is, of course optional. Distressing! I just took fine sandpaper and lightly sanded where I wanted the glass to show through. So easy! And you can make more for than 4 for   24$!!!

Voilà!
Super easy and SO shabby chic!

God Bless
Tiff
